Vivaldi Keyboard uses verified MIDI ranges from each instrument's standard repertoire. If you believe a range is incorrect, contact us with the instrument name and the expected range — we revise on real evidence.

Open Settings (gear icon) → Sound → Custom → Choose file. Pick any .sf2 file from the Files app or iCloud Drive. The file is copied into the app sandbox and persists across launches.

Open the ¢ tab to see, for the selected temperament, the offset of every note from Equal Temperament in cents. Negative = lower than equal, positive = higher.

When you select a transposing instrument, the keyboard dims keys outside that instrument's actual playable range. You can still play them, but the dimming tells you "your real instrument cannot reach this note".

415 Hz (baroque pitch) to 466 Hz (high orchestral). Default is the modern A = 440 Hz. Open Settings → Reference Frequency to change it.
