Frequently Asked Questions

What's actually free?

The musical core: keyboard, 22 temperaments, 21 transposing instruments, 5 built-in sounds, 3 pedals, hold-zone gesture, Mac Catalyst, keyboard shortcuts. You can play seriously for free.

What does Pro add?

Sound palette. The full FluidR3 GM library (142 melodic presets + drum kits), and the ability to import your own .sf2 SoundFonts. It's about what the keyboard sounds like — the rest of the app is already complete in Free.

Why €1.99 — that's very cheap?

Because we want musicians to actually buy it without thinking twice. The development cost is amortized differently: we have Music Workshop and Audio Editor sharing the same suite. Pro on Keyboard is more "thank you" than monetization.

Ask your teacher for a promo code?

Music teachers can request Apple promo codes that unlock Pro for free. If your teacher uses Vivaldi Keyboard, ask — they may have one for you. Redeem in the App Store.

Family Sharing?

Yes — Pro is shareable with up to five family members on the same Apple Family. One purchase covers them all.

Can I really import any SoundFont?

Any standard .sf2 file. You pick the bank and program inside the file, the app remembers your choice. Drum kits (bank 128) work too.

Does Pro work on Mac too?

Yes. One purchase, unlocked on iPad and Mac. The Mac version inherits all the keyboard shortcuts and gestures.

Ready to play?

Download for free. Try the keyboard, the temperaments, the pedals. Upgrade later if you want more sounds.
